Datuk Ir. Othman Bin Abdul Rahim
Executive Chairman
Datuk Ir. Othman obtained his education in B. Sc. (Hons) in Civil engineering from University College of Swansea. He is a registered Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers, Malaysia. His other qualifications and professional certifications include being a Member of Institution of Engineers Malaysia (MIEM), Member of the Institution of Highways and Transportation (UK), Environmental Impact Assessment Consultant in Hydrology and Water Quality with the Department of Environment.
His working experience in total consists of 35 years in Civil Engineering, 20 years in Environmental Impact Assessment and 12 years in Traffic Impact Assessment. His career started off with Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) as a Design Engineer Port Section and Road Engineer. He was then promoted to Chief Engineer with Project Penyelenggaraan Lebuhraya Sdn Bhd (PROPEL).
After his services in the Public Sector, Datuk Ir. Othman ventured in business where he founded O&L Jurutera Perunding Sdn Bhd in 1992. His well known commitment and integrity towards work had resulted in O&L being a household name in the Civil Engineering Consultancy industry. Later in 2015, Datuk Ir. Othman founded Ciri Selasih Sdn Bhd, a company involved in providing the services of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Environmental Management Plan (EMP) and Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA).
Mohd Ashraf Bin Ahmad
Managing Director
En. Ashraf is a graduate in Bachelor of Business Administration Majoring in Finance with 10 years experience in Finance, Corporate Banking and Management. He started of his career in Finance with Kumpulan Maybank Berhad as a Relationship Manager in Business Banking. His role included producing credit papers for business and corporate financing and maintained a portfolio of over RM800mil. He specialized in Contract Financing for companies involved in various industries including Oil & Gas, Construction, Development etc. His achievements in Kumpulan Maybank include being awarded the Top Business Development Manager 2013, the highest achievement for the Business Banking Industry in Malaysia.
He then joined Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (Malaysia) Berhad under the Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Japan. He continued to work in Corporate Banking and Finance as an Assistant Vice-President in the Japanese Corporate sector. His roles included Credit Assessment and Relationship Management with Japanese Corporations in Malaysia including Isuzu Malaysia Group, Mitsubishi Malaysia Group, Marubeni-Itochu Steel Group and other group of companies under the DRB-Hicom Group.
After his services in Corporate Banking where he gained experience in finance as well as knowledge in related industries, En. Ashraf decided to venture out into business where he had managed several SME companies before having founded Kumpulan Archway Malaysia in 2016 along with En. Naszuan and En. Thobrani.
Naszuan Bin Kamaruddin
Operations Director
En. Naszuan is a graduate in Bachelor of Surveying and Geomatics from Universiti Teknologi Mara with a total of 10 years experience in the field of Survey. He has held several positions in companies related to survey works including Jurukur Setia Sdn Bhd as a Project Executive involved in Underground Detection and Mapping (UDM). Before that, he was a Project Coordinator with Prisma Makmur Sdn Bhd, the state government panel for UDM works in the State of Melaka where he had helped setup the SOP and systems involved in the state’s UDM and Geographical Information System (GIS) system and database.
En. Naszuan had then ventured into the field of Offshore Survey and 3D Laser Scanning (TLS) with offshore experiences in Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Labuan, Bintulu, Australia etc under the employment of Velosi Malaysia Sdn Bhd and PEC Ltd (Singapore). His offshore working experience also include working and managing under the projects of Shell Refinery, Exxonmobile, GSK Ltd, Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd, McDermott Internatiol Inc etc.
Before joining Kumpulan Archway Malaysia, En. Naszuan’s last posting was as the Project Manager at Auxe 3D Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of PEC Malaysia Sdn Bhd involved in 3D Laser Scanning and Dimensional Control Survey.
Mohd Thobrani Bin Mohd Tarmizi
Head of Business Development
En. Thobrani possesses a Bachelor in Business Administration. After graduating, he served as a Special Officer to Tan Sri Arshad Ayub, Chairman of PFM Capital Sdn Bhd which is a company that manages the funds of Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB).
He was then employed by Perisind Venture Sdn Bhd as a Manager in Utilities Management Department. Perisind Venture Sdn Bhd was formally the company appointed by the Johor State Government to coordinate and supervise the Utilities Management System in Johor. Besides that, they were also the sole provider of Underground Detection and Mapping (UDM) for the whole state.
En. Thobrani’s role in the company include managing Wayleave applications involving all utility providers i.e. TNB, TM, SAJ, Gas Malaysia, Telcos, local councils and approving authorities i.e. Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR). He was also the liaison officer between all parties involved in the utilities management process. His role also include producing work permits for utility trenching works in Johor.
After the restructuring of the Johor Utilities Management System, En. Thobrani became a Manager in Topomap Malaysia Sdn Bhd in 2015, a company involved in producing UDM plans in Johor for Koridor Utiliti Johor (KUJ). He then co-founded Kumpulan Archway Malaysia and brought along his experience and professional knowledge in the industry.
Sr. Abdul Halem Bin Berahim
Technical Director
Sr. Abdul Halem is a graduate from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) possessing a Degree in Land Survey. He is also a member of the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia. He started his career in Land Survey as a freelance surveyor from 1995 to 2000 undertaking survey works for various projects including Petronas Penapisan Melaka, Shell Refinery Port Dickson, KLCC Twin Towers etc.
Sr. Halem was then employed by Jurukur Saharuddin El-Asas as a Survey Manager. He then attended and was awarded the Certification on Underground Detection and Mapping Competency Course by Lembaga Jurukur Tanah (LJT) and Persatuan Jurukur Tanah Bertauliah Malaysia (PEJUTA).
Sr. Halem is currently the Vice President of Melaka Rugby Association.
