Archway Mapping Services Sdn Bhd (AMS) was officially established on 15th August 2016 as a company consisting of 3 different entities consisting of Professional Surveyor, Professional Engineer (PE) and Underground Detection Operator (UDM).AMS is the appointed exclusive panel for Underground Detection and Mapping (UDM) and Development of GIS database by the State Government of Melaka under the purview of Unit Perancang Ekonomi Negeri Melaka (UPEN) and Bahagian Koridor Infrastruktur dan Impak Sosial (BKI).
Melaka is proudly one of the pioneer states in the country to introduce the Utilities Infrastructure System back in 2008 with the formation of BKI whose key role is to coordinate and supervise all infrastructure/road reserves for any pipe/cable laying works by utility providers.
AMS started its operation in Melaka on 1st January 2017 and officially formalized the Agreement with the Melaka State Government during the Signing Ceremony conducted on 31st May 2017. Since then, AMS has been appointed as a registered vendor for many utility companies including TNB, TM, PAAB etc.
Besides this, AMS is also the Consultant Panel to Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (AIS) for 3D Laser Scanning works.
